I am a registered dietitian (RD) and obtained a BS degree in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University. While working in the nutrition department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla I also completed a Dietetic Internship and obtained my RD status. I worked as a clinical dietitian for seven years in various hospitals including Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, and St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. With expertise in weight management, cardiac health, anti-aging health, and maternal and pediatric nutrition. I currently lecture and maintain a private practice counseling clients of all ages – from pediatric to geriatric – in all areas of nutrition.
I have a lifetime passion for family, health, swimming, running and power walks. I have competed in many competitive events including the La Jolla Half Marathon and many sprint triathlons. I swam competitively for 14 years.
